Every salesperson answers like your best technical manager.
Your reps ask for a product by application and condition, in animal nutrition, coatings, construction chemicals or another industry you sell into. They get a ranked answer with cost in use, landed cost and the registrations that apply in each country, without waiting for the technical manager. The interface and the website concierge work in Arabic.
- Load your range
- Add your principals' documents
- Ask the customer's question
- Flag anything that looks wrong
What does a ranked answer look like?
Three examples play in turn, with sample figures. You can pause the animation.
Describe this animation
Three examples play in turn. In animal nutrition, a rep asks for a heat-stress product for broilers in Saudi Arabia. In coatings, a dispersant for a water-based wall paint in the UAE. In construction chemicals, a superplasticiser for ready-mix concrete poured in a Riyadh summer. Each time, three products from three principals appear in ranked order with dose, cost in use and landed cost, the sources are listed, and Replace swaps in a competitor equivalent with the saving shown. All figures are samples.
What can the Technical Sales Guide do for a distributor?
Technical answers sit with a few managers and in folders of PDFs. These are the six jobs the Guide takes off their desks, each shown with sample figures. You can pause any of the animations.
How do I find the right product for an application and condition?
Name the application and the condition, such as heat stress in broilers. Your rep sees which products fit best, from every supplier in your range, with the numbers needed to quote beside each one.
- Dose, cost in use and landed cost beside each product, so the rep can quote on the spot.
- Competitor equivalents, and Replace for when a supply line fails or a customer asks for another brand.
A rep at a Saudi broiler mill asks for a heat-stress solution and gets products from three principals, ranked.
Describe this animation
A rep types an application and condition. Three products from three principals appear in ranked order with dose, cost in use per tonne of feed and landed cost, and the sources are listed underneath. A competitor equivalent is found and Replace swaps Principal A for Principal C, saving $0.40 per tonne of feed. All figures are samples.
How do I answer a customer's technical question from our principals' documents?
Add the data sheets, safety data sheets and certificates your principals send. Reps ask in plain words and get the answer with the document and page it came from, so a technical manager can confirm it quickly.
- The matching lines are highlighted on the page.
- Certificates and documents carry expiry dates, and the owner is reminded before they lapse.
- Details taken from a document, such as moisture or shelf life, go on a product page only after a person has approved them.
A technical manager uploads a principal's data sheet and asks for the maximum inclusion rate in layer feed. The answer points to page 3.
Describe this animation
A PDF data sheet is added and opens at page 1. A question about layer inclusion rates is typed. The answer appears with a citation to page 3 and the matching lines are highlighted. An expiry alert and an extraction waiting for review follow. All figures are samples.
Which of our products are registered where, and what expires next?
Each product and country has a registration record with the holder, the number, the expiry date and the document checklist. The owner is reminded before anything lapses.
- Rules and key dates per country, with the products and customers each one affects.
- A record per product and country: holder, number, expiry and documents.
- An expiry reminder that becomes a renewal task.
A registration in Saudi Arabia is 60 days from expiry. The regulatory team gets an alert and a renewal task, and sales sees which customers buy the product.
Describe this animation
A table of registrations by product and country. One row for Saudi Arabia turns amber at 60 days. An alert appears, a renewal task is created with a checklist in which one document is missing, and three customers who buy the product are listed. All figures are samples.
How do I show a principal where its products win and lose?
Principals log in to a live view of their own products: what you proposed, won and lost, and why. The review packs you already produce for each principal by country become a screen the principal opens whenever it likes.
- Wins, losses and recorded loss reasons by country and product.
- Each principal sees its own products and nothing else.
- The competitor is named where the rep recorded it.
A principal's regional manager opens the portal and sees wins, losses and loss reasons without asking for a report.
Describe this animation
A principal portal limited to one principal's products. Counts of proposals, wins and losses rise. Bars show results by country and reasons for lost deals. A note says a competitor was named on five of nine losses. All figures are samples.
How do I turn website visitors' questions into leads for the right team?
A product advisor on your website answers visitors from your catalogue and your principals' documents. When a visitor wants to talk to a person, it takes their details and sends the lead to the right team.
- Visitors ask in their own language, including Arabic.
- Leads arrive with the product, application and place already filled in.
- You see what visitors ask for most, and the gaps in your range.
A visitor asks in Arabic about heat stress in broilers, agrees to be contacted, and becomes a lead routed to the Eastern Province team.
Describe this animation
A chat on a website. The visitor writes in Arabic about heat stress in broilers, with an English gloss under each line. The advisor answers with a source and offers a contact from the Eastern Province team. The visitor agrees, and a lead card shows the interest, language and place. All figures are samples.
How do I produce a co-branded data sheet or application guide without starting from a blank page?
Choose a document type and the Guide drafts it from your catalogue and library, in your branding or with the principal's.
- Branded and co-branded data sheets, application guides and comparison sheets.
- Regulatory statements that use the registration details on file.
- Draft content for your website.
- Every draft goes to a person for review before it is used.
A marketing lead produces a data sheet with the principal's logo beside the distributor's, with dose, shelf life and registration filled in from the record.
Describe this animation
A data sheet template is chosen with co-branding and an English option. A page builds up with two logos, a title, specification rows, a registration line and a sources footer. An export button and a draft-for-review status follow. All figures are samples.
See it work on your own product range.
Request a demo →What else helps the sales team day to day?
Around the six main jobs: a light CRM, training for new reps, a way to flag wrong answers, offline briefs, product data you can rely on and feed formulation tools.
Can we keep accounts and opportunities in the Guide without replacing our CRM?
Yes. The Guide has a light CRM for technical selling, with accounts, opportunities and territories. Import them from Dynamics 365 or Salesforce with ready-made settings, and keep the two in step through the API.
- Sales roles see the territories they cover.
- A lost deal needs a reason, and the reasons feed the principal review packs.
A sales manager imports accounts from Dynamics 365, then records why a betaine deal at a feed mill was lost and which competitor won it.
Describe this animation
A Dynamics 365 export is imported with ready-made settings, and counts show 128 accounts, 46 opportunities and 4 territories. One opportunity turns amber as lost. A form asks for the reason, price against a competitor, and the competitor is named. A note says the reason goes into the principal review pack. All figures are samples.
How do new reps learn our range and the rules that apply?
Short learning paths take a new rep through the range, the applications and the rules, one module at a time, and each module ends with a quiz.
A rep in their second week finishes the enzymes module and gets four of five quiz questions right.
Describe this animation
A learning path of five modules shows two done, one in progress and two to go. A quiz question asks what phytase releases from feed, and the correct answer, phosphorus bound in phytate, is ticked. A note shows four of five correct so far. All content is a sample.
What happens when an answer is wrong?
Anyone can flag an answer with one click and say what looks wrong. Flagged answers are reviewed each working day and corrected.
- Each answer shows where it came from: a supplier source, an expert draft or a confirmed review.
A rep spots a dose that looks high against the new data sheet, flags it, and sees it corrected after review.
Describe this animation
An answer gives a layer feed dose of 4,000 grams per tonne, citing an older data sheet. The rep presses Flag this answer and types that the new sheet says 2,000. A note says it went to today's review. The corrected answer then shows 2,000 grams per tonne citing the newer sheet. All figures are samples.
Can reps use it at a plant with no signal?
Yes. Save an account brief before a plant visit and it opens without a connection. Saved briefs are removed from the device when the person signs out.
A rep saves the brief for a broiler integrator's plant in Dammam and opens it on site with no signal.
Describe this animation
A brief marked as saved for offline use shows the plant, the products the customer buys, an open opportunity, the last visit and registration status. A notice says there is no signal but the brief still opens, and a note says the brief is removed from the device at sign-out. All content is a sample.
How do we keep product data complete and consistent?
Each product has one passport page with a completeness score. Gaps and possible duplicates are called out, and the same facts reach your website, CRM and ERP.
A product manager sees a xylanase blend at 78% complete, fills in the shelf life and merges a duplicate entry.
Describe this animation
A product passport shows a completeness bar rising to 78%. Two gaps are listed, shelf life and an Arabic product name, and one check passes. A possible duplicate is flagged for merging. Chips show the passport feeding the website, CRM and ERP. All figures are samples.
Can the Guide help with feed formulation?
Two tools help a rep or nutritionist talk numbers with a customer: feed savings worked out from enzyme matrix values, and a mycotoxin risk advisor. Both are a starting point for a nutritionist to confirm.
A rep shows a broiler mill how much phosphate phytase can replace, and what that saves per tonne after the enzyme cost.
Describe this animation
A broiler grower feed with phytase at 500 FTU per kilogram. A table shows dicalcium phosphate falling from 12 to 6 kilograms per tonne and limestone from 9 to 7. The saving is $3.10 per tonne, or $1.95 net of enzyme cost. A risk panel then shows aflatoxin high and fumonisin low for maize from one origin. All figures are samples.
Does it work in Arabic and across the GCC, and does it connect to our CRM?
The interface and the website concierge work in Arabic. Product content is in English today.
Arabic and the Gulf

How will I know an answer is right?
Each answer shows where it came from, and anyone can flag one that looks wrong. Flagged answers are reviewed and corrected each working day. Treat a ranking as a starting point for a technical person to confirm.
Start with a scoped pilot
Eight weeks, one division, one country. We load your principals' products, your team asks its real questions, and we agree what success looks like at the start.
Questions about the Technical Sales Guide
How can my sales team answer technical questions without calling our technical manager?
The Technical Sales Guide lets a salesperson answer a customer's technical question without calling a specialist. It holds a catalogue of hundreds of products from over 100 suppliers across 8 industries. Your rep asks by application and condition and sees the products ranked, with dose, cost in use and landed cost, competitor equivalents and substitutes, and the regulations and registrations that apply. It is a starting point for a technical person to confirm.
How is this different from Copilot or ChatGPT over our SharePoint?
A chat assistant over a document folder can quote a data sheet. The Guide adds what a folder does not hold: products from many suppliers and their competitors side by side, a ranking by performance for an application, cost in use and landed cost, and registrations per product and country. Answers show where they came from, and flagged answers are reviewed each working day.
Does it work with Copilot?
You can keep Copilot for chat over your own files. The Guide adds ranked, cross-supplier answers with cost and registrations, and other tools can request its rankings through the REST API. There is no Copilot connector yet.
Does it work in Arabic?
The interface is available in ten languages, including Arabic, which displays right to left. The website concierge takes questions in Arabic. Product and catalogue content is in English today.
Can a principal see our data?
A principal sees a live view of its own products only: where they were proposed, won and lost, and the reasons recorded. It does not see other principals or the rest of your pipeline. You decide who gets access.
Does it connect to Dynamics 365 or Salesforce?
You can import accounts and opportunities from Dynamics 365 and Salesforce using ready-made import settings. A REST API with scoped keys and signed webhooks lets you keep accounts and opportunities in step with a CRM or ERP, read the catalogue and request rankings.
How do I know the answers are right?
Every answer shows where it came from, such as a supplier source, an expert draft or a confirmed review. Anyone can flag an answer that looks wrong, and flagged answers are reviewed each working day and corrected. Registration expiries remind the person who owns them.
How do we get started, and what does it cost?
Request a demo. Arithim sets up each customer directly, so there is no self-service sign-up. A pilot runs for eight weeks on one division in one country, using your principals' products and your team's real questions. Pricing depends on the modules and the number of users, and we give you a figure in the demo conversation.
Book a Technical Sales Guide demo on your own product range
Tell us which principals you represent and which countries you sell into. We run the demo on your products and your team's real questions, and if it fits, we scope an eight-week pilot for one division in one country.
